About The Position

This position involves operating various construction dirt equipment for earth and material movement in precision processes. The role requires a strong emphasis on safety, equipment inspection, and adherence to operational procedures. The operator will work in diverse weather conditions and may follow directions from a signaler. Accessing operational areas for safety checks and planning is also a key part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of experience as an Equipment Operator.
• Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
• Must have all required tools.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have experience and knowledge of operating varies construction equipment including but not limited to bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, rollers, RT forklift, and graders.
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge and illustrate the abilities to inspect equipment.
• Must have knowledge of and be familiar with soil types.
• Must illustrate knowledge of excavating and the specifications that are required for a given excavation.
• Must be able to follow instructions correctly.
• Must be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes such as but not limited to equipment inspection paperwork.
• Must be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
• Must be able to make it work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification.

Nice To Haves

• Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.
• Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
• Valid Driver’s License and pass a MVR.

Responsibilities

• Operate various construction dirt equipment to move the earth and equipment in precision processes.
• Inspect equipment.
• Be responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment.
• May follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations.
• Access area of operations for safety issues and required processes and planning of equipment operations.
