About The Position

The Ministry of Highways, Traffic Guidance Operations, is seeking an organized and motivated Equipment Operator for the Pavement Marking/Provincial Signs Crew. The Traffic Guidance Unit is responsible for highway pavement marking and sign installation for provincial highways within the province. In this position, you will report to the Crew Lead and will be responsible for the application and quality of pavement markings within your geographic area. In addition, you will be required to provide assistance to the sign crew as required. This position is a Labour Service/Seasonal position and is subject to layoff in the fall and recall in the spring. This position requires extensive travel within your geographical location and may be required to be away from home for up to five (5) days a week.
