About The Position

The EQUIPMENT OPERATOR is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, packaging, and documenting medical devices in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This position supports daily production goals while maintaining compliance with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical devices and components according to work instructions and specifications
  • Operate manufacturing equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks on products and materials
  • Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleanroom protocols if applicable
  • Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or process deviations to supervisors
  • Package and label finished products according to company and customer requirements
  • Meet daily production schedules and productivity goals
  • Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and company quality standards
