As a Repair & Restoration Technician I, you’ll help keep stormwater systems functioning safely and effectively. Your day may include: Inspecting and restoring stormwater facilities such as retention and detention ponds, drainage ditches, swales, catch basins, sand filters, and underground conveyance systems. Operating equipment such as tractors, UTVs, excavators, skid steers, slope mowers, marsh masters, and zero-turn mowers. Using handheld equipment including chainsaws, string trimmers, pole saws, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers. Performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and adjustments on vehicles and equipment. Working safely in and around confined spaces and water. Identifying and reporting safety hazards, system issues, and defective equipment. Communicating with customers regarding work being performed, timelines, and updates. Completing daily technology-based reports and safety documentation. Assisting with traffic control, including flagging and setting signs and cones. Preparing materials and herbicides for applications as needed. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Following OSHA, PPE, traffic, and company safety requirements. Participating in training, company meetings, and licensing programs.
