Department: Public Works Grade: 160 Salary: $22.06/hour Job Duties: Assists the Foreman and/or Supervisors with project management to ensure that timely completion is accomplished. Operates specialized maintenance equipment and uses handheld equipment, hand tools and other power equipment in the completion of projects. Performs asset and infrastructure improvements and manual labor as necessary. Performs inspection prior to operation of daily assigned equipment to ensure proper and safe working order. Performs daily maintenance according to equipment operators' manual or standard operating procedure. Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industry related position or craft.
Must obtain a Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.
Heavy lifting is required, sometimes in excess of 50 lbs.
Additional qualification dependent on department needs.
Must have obtained a Class A commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement and HAZMAT or can obtain/retain HAZMAT endorsement within six months of hire, where applicable.
Must submit to/pass pre-employment background/drug screen.
