About The Position
Select and weigh ingredients following the exact instructions on recipe cards. Batch, stage, label, record, and issue ingredients used. Operates kitchen processing equipment.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50-65 pounds up to four feet high without assistance.
- Required to bend, stoop, pull, and push in performance of job duties.
Responsibilities
- Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas
- Inspect food products and follow (FIFO) first-in, first-out rotation of ingredients
- Measure and weigh ingredients
- Record operational or production data
- Operate pumping systems
- Follow work orders and instructions on recipe cards
- Operate roasters, choppers, and other food processing equipment
- Use of handheld scan gun to issue material to jobs and move inventory in DEACOM
- Assist Kettle Cooks when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
