About The Position

Responsible for operating the Extrusion and Popcorn manufacturing equipment and preparing products for further processing. Continuously monitors equipment during production to ensure quality and smooth operation of all equipment. Responsible for all aspects of production equipment to include set up, operation, maintenance. troubleshooting and minor repairs. Troubleshoots and resolves a variety of mechanical problems of low to moderate scope and complexity on the equipment. Works with equipment that has electrical systems, electronic components, and industrial machinery and equipment. Must have the experience using tools. Analyzes and solves minor electrical and mechanical problems on processing and packaging equipment and assists manufacturing personnel on process related problems. Refers more complex problems to the Maintenance team. Coordinates activities with peers, supervisors, and management to minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements

• Mechanical Experience required
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in equipment set up, operation and troubleshooting
• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• Must have moderate physical strength to tear down and set up the mechanical equipment.
• Must have the experience using tools.

Nice To Haves

• Trade school certification or education is a plus
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting abilities
