Equipment Operator: Dozer-Superior Construction-Mas-Tec Civil Joint Venture Project Job
About The Position
The Dozer Operator levels and scoops soil and controls the direction and angle of the equipment to move rocks and debris. This position will work with straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop. Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Operate the dozer and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Ensure dozer is in proper gear and is not moving to fast for working conditions. Observe hand signals, grade stakes or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications. Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Other Understand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations. Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries. Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating equipment so that work can be performed in a safe and quality manner. Familiarity with excavations and heavy lifting. Experience in stockpiling.
Requirements
- Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
- Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
