About The Position

This is a temporary position for Highline Construction in Bellingham, WA, lasting approximately 6-10 weeks from August through September. The role requires open availability Mondays through Fridays, with hours potentially including overtime. The job involves physically intensive work, operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and rollers, as well as utilizing hand and power tools. The position also requires willingness to perform general labor duties as needed. Candidates should be safety-conscious, enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

18+ years old and legally authorized for work in the U.S.A.
Previous heavy equipment operating experience required.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to safely pick up more than 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Safety-minded with a positive attitude and strong work-ethic.
Reliable vehicle (clean driving record preferred).
Smart phone required.
Reliable attendance.
Availability from 6:30am-6:30pm Mondays through Fridays is required from August through September.

Nice To Haves

CDL-Class A or CDL-Class B a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Work on a temporary basis for 6-10 weeks.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions, practicing heat safety strategies.
Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and types, including excavators, dozers, and rollers.
Utilize hand and power tools.
Willingness to work as an equipment operator and as a laborer as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
