About The Position

The Selinsgrove Center is seeking Equipment Operators who are ready to support daily operations. In this role, you will handle vehicles, mowers, tools, and other equipment that keep the campus functioning well. Your efforts help ensure that grounds are safe, clean, and accessible for everyone. This position supports the day-to-day functioning of the Selinsgrove Center by assisting with transportation, grounds upkeep, and general operational needs. It involves physical tasks, routine inspections, and the use of tools that help maintain a safe and well-kept campus environment.

Requirements

Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with air brake endorsement at hire.
Must obtain passenger endorsement to your Class B CDL within 6 months of employment.
Meet the PA residency requirement.
Able to perform essential job functions.
Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
Complete and accurate information provided on the application.

Responsibilities

Operate mowers, trucks, buses, tractors, and other machinery to support campus needs
Mow, trim, and clean outdoor areas including lawns, walkways, and parking areas
Complete pre-trip checks and document findings on required reports
Load and unload materials and use hand tools to complete assigned duties
Assist during snow removal, sidewalk clearing, and other seasonal needs
Perform additional assignments based on supervisor direction and operational needs
