Job Summary: Under general supervision, responsible for performing diagnostics, repairing and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment, including: “on” and “off” road vehicles, heavy equipment, all-terrain vehicles, snow grooming equipment, and snowmobiles. Assists other departments as necessary. Performs troubleshooting to test operational efficiency of engines and drivetrain, hydraulic and exhaust systems, etc. and determines the cause(s) of malfunction(s). Prescribes and performs emergency repairs to equipment in the field. Performs related work as required or assigned. We’re looking for a dedicated Equipment Mechanic to help keep our fleet running smoothly and safely! Under general supervision, and with the support of a skilled team of experienced mechanics, this position will receive on-the-job training while performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on various types of vehicles and equipment. This includes “on” and “off” road vehicles, heavy equipment, all-terrain vehicles, snow grooming equipment and snowmobiles.
