About The Position
The Equipment Manager is responsible for ordering and maintaining equipment in the field used by the Data Center crews and field personnel to complete the project. This position supports the Field team and works with personnel in various departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- 3 years of equipment operator or maintenance experience.
- Tooling experience.
- Should be able to perform minor repairs.
Nice To Haves
- 4 or more years of equipment operator or maintenance experience.
- Detailed knowledge of fleet maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain the fleet of vehicles and equipment.
- Keep up with DOT requirements regarding dielectric testing and IFTA stickers, changing equipment out as needed.
- Complete tag and title work.
- Take calls related to equipment problems in the field and prioritize jobs to dispatch mechanics to the jobsite to fix them.
- Collect quotes, gain approvals, and order equipment when needed.
