About The Position
Tyson Foods is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team at a state-of-the-art food processing plant. This role involves the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in food processing operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring high quality standards and efficient production.
Requirements
- Application and/or resume must show a minimum of 6 months’ experience and/or training in one of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems.
- Skilled technician with experience in equipment maintenance within a food processing plant.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in food processing.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, electrical issues, and mechanical failures.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and any additional recommendations.
