About The Position
Tyson Foods is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for its food processing plant in Waterloo. This role involves the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in food processing operations, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment maintenance within a food processing plant and a passion for troubleshooting and ensuring smooth machinery operation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months' experience and/or training in one of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in food processing.

- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and any additional recommendations.
