About The Position

The Equipment Maintenance Technician provides maintenance and technical support for service and repair of production and ancillary equipment at the Chelsea MA facility. Support spray drying and downstream operations by providing quality, compliant and timely equipment service to prevent excessive down-time and ensure optimum equipment operation. The Maintenance Technician also provides technical assistance to operators.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Must have minimum 3 years of relevant cGMP experience
• Proficiency using MS office is required
• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk, lift, pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching regularly, and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide support for validation, calibration, and preventative maintenance of all GMP equipment and systems
• Diagnose and repair of all electronic, pneumatic and control system problems on GMP equipment
• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing/packaging equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on GMP and non-GMP equipment
• Execute equipment-related work orders in support of Operations
• Manage and order equipment spare parts inventory
• Troubleshoot problems during equipment set-up/change-over
• Assist in design and implementation of engineering controls
• Assist process engineers as needed
• Other duties as assigned
