About The Position

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Thin Film Maintenance Technician to support its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in the Thin Film area, including Novellus Concept 1, AMAT P5000 DCVD, AMAT 5500 Endura, AMAT 5200 RTP, AMAT 5200 WxZ, WJ999R, and Varian 3180/3290 tool sets. The position is 100% onsite and works a night shift on a compressed schedule: three 12-hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) one week and four 12-hour shifts the following week. Candidates must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for access to areas where ITAR-controlled articles or technical data may be present. Eligible individuals include U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Requirements

Associate or bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering; military training; or 10 or more years of relevant work experience.
At least 5 years supporting AMAT Endura, AMAT P5000, Novellus Concept 1, Varian 3180/3290, and WJ999R equipment.
At least 5 years of experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment.
At least 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
Strong mechanical skills.
Strong electronic skills.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of SPC and its use and implementation in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work on complex electrical systems, including 120-, 240-, and 480-volt systems.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Thin Film area tool sets.
Support equipment including Novellus Concept 1, AMAT P5000 DCVD, AMAT 5500 Endura, AMAT 5200 RTP, AMAT 5200 WxZ, WJ999R, and Varian 3180/3290.
