Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Ability to read and follow directions
  • Ability to complete GMP documentation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.
  • Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing.
  • Able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to work in walk in refrigerators and freezers.
  • Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience working as a mechanic or technician preferred
  • Experience in a cGMP environment
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical packaging equipment (fillers, labeling machines, blister machines, bottle capping, induction sealers, card sealers.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative maintenance per published schedule.
  • Performs corrective maintenance as needed in a timely fashion.
  • Documents within GMP systems that all required tasks have been completed.
  • Assist Engineers in carrying out engineering evaluations / troubleshooting.
  • Oversees inventory on all spare parts and equipment consumables.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, sensors, control systems, and related components.
  • Follow OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe maintenance practices
  • Setup production equipment.
  • Train operators on the use of production equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Ability to coordinate repairs and spare part purchases with vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
