About The Position
Action Mailing & Printing Solutions is a leader in direct mail and print services, experiencing growth and seeking skilled Technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on various production equipment. The role ensures automated mail production equipment, including insert machines, folders, and inkjets, are operational to meet production needs. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with benefits.
Requirements
- Light electrical skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- 3 + years previous work experience on production equipment/machines
- Ability to exercise good independent judgment
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, vendors and suppliers
- Demonstrates exemplary work ethic; dependable and punctual
- Must be available to work mandatory overtime including Saturdays
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Machine set up
- Install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify & make adjustments to production equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment down time
- Communicate proper technique to machine operators for optimal production
- Ensure proper preventative maintenance and safety inspections are done
- Continuously obtain knowledge on updated equipment and industry specifications
