Apprentice Maintenance Technicians: We're looking for motivated individuals who want to combine a college education with on-the-job training.

Requirements

18 years or older
Have a HS Diploma or GED
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to work in a Class 1 clean room environment, wearing a full clean room suit
Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 6 hours at a time
Ability to work a compressed shift of 12-hours (3 days a week)

Nice To Haves

Completion of a Certified Production Technician (CPT) Program or courses in ACC’s Advanced Manufacturing Program is an advantage, but not required
Completion of ACC’s TSI Assessment if needed for math placement (you are highly encouraged to take the assessment as soon as possible to place into Algebra I or Algebra I with support to avoid delays in completing the program)

Responsibilities

Train under the guidance of a certified mentor
Work through a structured on-the-job training program while attending courses at Austin Community College (ACC).
