About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor – C Shift is responsible for leading and managing the maintenance team during the night shift to ensure all production equipment, automation systems, and facility equipment operate safely and reliably. The supervisor will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, respond to equipment breakdowns, and provide technical support to production.

Requirements

  • Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with PLCs, automation systems, sensors, motors, drives, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently during night shift and make timely decisions during equipment breakdowns.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing/production environment experience preferred.
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge.
  • Robotics and automation experience.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance experience.
  • CMMS/MES experience.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 5-Why methodology.
  • Knowledge of OEE and equipment reliability.
  • Experience with ultrasonic welding, laser systems, conveyors, assembly equipment, or automated production lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians during C Shift.
  • Ensure continuous support for production lines and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, robotics, and automation-related issues.
  • Coordinate and prioritize breakdown maintenance based on production requirements.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) activities are completed according to schedule.
  • Monitor machine downtime and identify recurring equipment failures.
  • Support root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat failures.
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other support teams.
  • Ensure proper handover of equipment status, open issues, and pending maintenance activities to the next shift.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, downtime reports, and work orders.
  • Ensure critical spare parts, tools, and consumables are available for the shift.
  • Monitor technician performance, attendance, work assignments, and response time.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety procedures, LOTO requirements, and company policies.
  • Escalate critical equipment issues to the Maintenance Manager/Engineering Manager.
  • Support equipment installation, modification, commissioning, and improvement projects when required.
  • Drive equipment reliability, OEE improvement, and reduction of unplanned downtime.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the maintenance area.
