About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join the Facilities & Equipment Maintenance team located in Helena, Montana. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior Equipment Maintenance Specialist. This position is a weekend shift, working Friday - Sunday from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The successful candidate will have a background in equipment maintenance and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance of CNC equipment with Fanuc and Siemens controls. Requirements

1+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems
1+ years of experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals
1+ years of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience operating Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Hydraulic Systems
1+ years of experience performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance
1+ years of experience working with suppliers
Ability to take direction, multi-task, perform work safely and communicate in written and verbal form

Responsibilities

Works under general supervision with understanding of the job
Performs maintenance on factory equipment
Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Assists with interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
Responds to requests for equipment repair
Identifies and requests component and replacement part inventories
