About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join the Facilities & Equipment Maintenance team located in Helena, Montana. This position is a weekend shift, working Friday - Sunday from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The successful candidate will have a background in equipment maintenance and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance of CNC equipment with Fanuc and Siemens controls. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems
  • 1+ years of experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals
  • 1+ years of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience operating Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Hydraulic Systems
  • 1+ years of experience performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance
  • 1+ years of experience working with suppliers
  • Ability to take direction, multi-task, perform work safely and communicate in written and verbal form

Responsibilities

  • Works under general supervision with understanding of the job
  • Performs maintenance on factory equipment
  • Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Assists with interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
  • Responds to requests for equipment repair
  • Identifies and requests component and replacement part inventories
