Equipment Maintenance Specialist
About The Position
The Boeing Company is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join the Facilities & Equipment Maintenance team in Helena, Montana. This role is for individuals with a background in equipment maintenance and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The specialist will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance of CNC equipment with Fanuc and Siemens controls. This position involves performing essential maintenance and troubleshooting tasks that support production goals, working under general supervision. The company is hiring for Associate and Mid-Level Equipment Maintenance Specialist roles.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems
- 1+ years of experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals
- 1+ years of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of experience operating Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Hydraulic Systems
- 1+ years of experience performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance
- 1+ years of experience working with suppliers
- Ability to take direction, multi-task, perform work safely and communicate in written and verbal form
Responsibilities
- Works under general supervision with understanding of the job
- Performs maintenance on factory equipment
- Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Assists with interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
- Responds to requests for equipment repair
- Identifies and requests component and replacement part inventories
