About The Position

Metrolinx’s GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network. This role is a newly created position within the ONxpress Civils (“CJV” aka the Design & Construction team), the project segment responsible for the modernization and modification of the key area network, including countless innovations in the way the regional rail infrastructure is built.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new computer programs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Superior communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines, using initiative and requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project or equipment administration is an asset.
  • SAP experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Distribution of Taxable Benefit related items, and processing of monthly invoices.
  • Maintenance of Rental Schedule and processing/receiving of related invoices.
  • Document and ensure continuous process improvements are applied within area of responsibility.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
  • Onboarding new Equipment and preparing affiliated file folders.
  • Maintaining necessary equipment lists.
  • Allocating assets to jobsites.
  • Administration of equipment adjustments and transfers.
  • Assistance with onboarding and offboarding equipment.
  • Coordination with shop supervisor with regards to repairs to equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
