About The Position

The Equipment Maint. Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation and activities for the maintenance department team to ensure all equipment is operational. This role may operate and provide supervision and training in the operation of various tools, interpret technical data from diagrams, sketches, blueprints and operational manuals.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot control circuits
  • Ability to use various tools, to include but not limited to, basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screw drivers, measuring devices, etc.), power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, etc.)
  • Ability to follow technical data and instructions (e.g., operation manuals, schematics, and diagrams)
  • Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift 50 pounds without straining
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills
  • 3 years of preventative maintenance, repair and/or installation of industrial/commercial electro-mechanical equipment using skills associated with trades such as: electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing and welding
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising the activities of all maintenance technicians.
  • Assignment of tasks, coordination of activities with other departments and training of staff in the skills they will need to successfully fulfill their job duties.
  • Review activities of staff to ensure completeness and accuracy of work performed.
  • Serve as the shift’s emergency maintenance contact person for production and engineering personnel.
  • Daily communicate the status of all work completed or in progress to the Maintenance Manager and the rest of the project & emergency maintenance staff.
  • Adhere and follow up to ensure staff adheres to all environmental, safety and health policies plans and procedures.
  • Complete all departmental documentation neatly, completely, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Schedule, supervise and assist with projects on assigned weekends.
  • Perform other related duties as required by the Management and deemed required and necessary.
