About The Position

Wisconsin Aviation is seeking an experienced, hands-on Equipment & Fleet Mechanic to join their Madison team at Dane County Regional Airport. This role involves working on a diverse fleet of specialized airport equipment, including aircraft tugs, fuel trucks, deicing equipment, ground power equipment, service vehicles, and other machinery essential for aviation operations. While previous aviation or GSE experience is not required, a strong mechanical background with experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment is essential. The ideal candidate will be mechanically capable, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently. The role requires willingness to work both in the shop and outdoors in an active airport environment.

• Ensure the continuous operation of equipment that keeps the aviation operation moving.
• Work both in the shop and outdoors around an active airport operation.
