About The Position

As an Equipment Associate at United Rentals, you will perform manual tasks to support smooth Trench Safety branch operations. The primary objective is to provide labor assistance in preparing customer orders and maintaining trench safety equipment. This team-oriented position requires dependability, a focus on safety, the ability to understand and follow procedures, and attention to detail. The role may provide an advancement opportunity into the Driver development program.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Some knowledge of computers and phone apps.
Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
Diligent attention to safety.
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

Assemble, load, and unload equipment; assist with deliveries; and prepare equipment for rental.
Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
Greet customers and assist with equipment inquiries.
Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
