About The Position

An Equipment Assembler prepares beverage, ice, condiment, and non-food items—including cutlery, napkins, linens, and dishware—for flights. The employee assembles, sorts, wraps, and packs items into airline carts according to airline specifications and procedures, maintains sanitation standards, and documents inventory. The role requires open availability, including a schedule that may vary and may include weekends and holidays, and overtime when required. Employees are expected to work reliably as part of a team and demonstrate gategroup’s values of Excellence, Integrity, Passion, and Accountability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Must communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Must work an assigned schedule that may vary and include weekends and holidays, and have open availability.
• Must work overtime when required.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to 50 pounds frequently during a shift.
• Must regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8 or more hours.
• Must be able to work in conditions involving extreme temperature changes and noise.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one year of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment according to airline specifications, procedures, and assembly diagrams.
• Sort, wrap, and pack airline dry goods, liquor, and equipment into airline carts according to airline specifications.
• Keep production areas compliant with sanitation standards and customer requirements.
• Document inventory in compliance with company requirements.
• Follow directions and work as a member of a team.
• Arrive at work on time, complete paperwork and related administrative duties, and work overtime when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
