About The Position
Progressive Roofing is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic with experience in maintaining and repairing small equipment and engines. This position plays a key role in supporting both our regular maintenance operations and our specialty projects, which include welding, painting, spray equipment (Graco), and custom fabrication.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of small engine/equipment repair and preventative maintenance
- Basic computer skills
- A flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Effective communication with team members and supervisors
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must provide your own tools
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engines and various equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Assist with specialty projects including welding, fabrication, and spray equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Communicate effectively with management and team members
