Requirements

  • One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • Three years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes two years of professional experience, and a bachelor’s degree
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions
  • Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans, conduct interviews, and review evidence for sensitive EEO cases
  • Write clear investigative summaries and organize documents for review
  • Guide employees and applicants on EEO laws, policies, and procedures
  • Deliver educational sessions, including sexual harassment training for cadets
  • Work with legal staff, testify when needed, and maintain accurate case records
  • Review union contracts and human resource policies to support fair decision making
