Requirements

One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Three years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes two years of professional experience, and a bachelor’s degree
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
Meet the PA residency requirement
Be able to perform essential job functions
Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements

Responsibilities

Develop plans, conduct interviews, and review evidence for sensitive EEO cases
Write clear investigative summaries and organize documents for review
Guide employees and applicants on EEO laws, policies, and procedures
Deliver educational sessions, including sexual harassment training for cadets
Work with legal staff, testify when needed, and maintain accurate case records
Review union contracts and human resource policies to support fair decision making
