As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government law enforcement location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will build positive relationships through exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate law enforcement personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, patrol activities, observations, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
