Epoxy Machine Operator
About The Position
This is a manufacturing hourly, full onsite position located in Bradford, PA. Smoking is permitted in most areas of Zippo workplace facilities, other than certain designated non-smoking areas. The employee is responsible for operational productivity, continuous improvement / suggestions and involvement. The employee is responsible for product, function, quality, and job safety. This requires the employee to maintain a full working knowledge of the performance, quality and safety requirements of the function being performed. The employee is to support job related operational training needs regarding existing and or new manufacturing practices / processes / technologies.

Responsibilities
- Operate and perform repairs / maintenance on all the electrical, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic components.
- Adjust fixtures, sensors, dispensers, punches, etc.
- Repair and rebuild pneumatic components.
- Repair and /or replace worn or broken component of fixtures, pick and place units, pallets, grippers and other machine assemblies.
- Lubricate all drive chains, sprockets, etc., with grease or oil.
- Change oil in gearboxes.
- Periodically check quality of production per quality plan. Record resulting measurement information in quality program system.
- Clear component part jams, in all feeder bowls, escapements and grippers.
- Maintain supply of material at all feed stations.
- Change epoxy pails as necessary.
- Keep machines, equipment, and work area clean and orderly for operational and work force safety benefits.
- Keep any production and or quality related records.
- Perform any other duties related in nature that may be assigned by the supervisor.
