About The Position

Seattle Children's Hospital is building an innovative Epic Community Connect program to extend our world-class electronic health record (EHR) system to primary care clinics across our region, enhancing pediatric care coordination and outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst to play a vital role in building something new and impactful for our community. This role is for a certified EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst who will provide application support for both our Community Connect partners and our Seattle Children's primary care clinics. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer-facing acumen, enjoy problem-solving, and be adept at thinking outside the box and solutioning quickly. You will be responsible for the design, build, and implementation of clinical workflows within the EpicCare Ambulatory application. The ideal candidate will have experience with some specialty build and a strong understanding of how to support your application within the Community Connect model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field OR a combination of education/experience that demonstrates technical competence.
  • Minimum of five (5) years with experience with clinical, hospital and/or financial applications and systems.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of project management skills, tools and methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading committees, projects and activities.
  • Proven ability to fully use and apply standard principles, theories and concepts related to technical discipline.
  • Epic Certification required (Epic certification is required within 6 months of employment, including 2 test retakes).

Nice To Haves

  • At least five (5) years work experience with Epic Hyperspace applications.
  • Licensed as Pharmacy Technician if working in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implementation of clinical workflows within the EpicCare Ambulatory application.
  • Provide application support for Community Connect partners and Seattle Children's primary care clinics.
  • Support the Epic Community Connect program.
