About The Position

One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Desktop Support / EPIC TDR team. This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door with a local enterprise company. The Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) Analyst validates IT equipment and clinical technology readiness in preparation for facility opening and Epic go-live. Working onsite under the direction of the project leadership team, TDR Analysts execute test scripts, verify workstation and peripheral functionality, document results, and escalate issues for resolution. This is a fully onsite role in an active construction environment – candidates must be comfortable working around ongoing construction and following all site safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician or EPIC TDR experience is preferred.
  • Basic desktop support, field services, or IT deployment experience preferred.
  • Prior Epic TDR or healthcare go-live experience is a plus, not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written test scripts and accurately document results.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills – comfortable interacting with clinical staff and project leads.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

  • IT certifications are desirable for this role.
  • CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Epic TDR test scripts to validate workstation and device readiness in the production environment.
  • Test end-user devices and peripherals: computers, printers (including label/wristband), badge/tap readers, barcode scanners, document scanners, Rovers, dictation devices, and credit card readers.
  • Verify Epic access, wireless connectivity, printing configuration, and login scenarios.
  • Document test results and log failures in the Epic tool editor with enough detail for field techs to remediate.
  • Retest devices after remediation and confirm readiness for go-live.
  • Assist with basic hardware setup, peripheral connections, and device labeling as needed.
  • Maintain accurate testing and inventory documentation.
  • Follow daily assignments and priorities set by the Site Coordinator / TDR Lead.
