About The Position

Advises strategic direction and provides leadership for designing, engineering, and implementing infrastructure consolidation and standardization, as well as application development throughout Sutter Health. Interprets architecture requirements and leads design, product evaluation and selection, build, and integration of new technology to support organizational objectives. Develops enterprise infrastructure, data management, and application technology strategies, standards, and solution architecture. The role may oversee software, hardware, and infrastructure design; own the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), continual integration processes and tools, and integration strategies; and lead Information Services systems engineering projects through collaboration, coordination, and implementation across multiple teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the degree.
Eight years of recent relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of formulating state-of-the-art enterprise strategic architecture framework plans.
Advanced knowledge of engineering, implementing, operating, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of server and storage platforms.
Expert knowledge of visualization technologies.
Ability to set priorities that reflect the relative importance of responsibilities and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures, identify patterns and relationships, and reach logical, objective conclusions.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships across all areas and levels of Sutter Health and with external organizations.
Verbal and written communication skills for engaging effectively with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Skill in developing technical- and user-level documentation.
