About The Position

The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is implementing Epic, and we're seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Application Analyst to help design, configure, and optimize the technology supporting our Radiology Department. In this role, you'll work alongside radiologists, imaging technologists, providers, and technical teams to build efficient workflows for scheduling, imaging orders, documentation, results management, and system integration. Your work will directly improve diagnostic imaging operations and help ensure patients receive timely, accurate, and coordinated care. Requirements

  • Must align with OKCIC vision, mission, and core values
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Radiologic Sciences, Health Informatics, Healthcare Information Technology, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related clinical or technical field required. An equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience may be substituted, with one (1) year of additional relevant experience accepted in lieu of each year of required education.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience supporting healthcare information technology, electronic health records (EHR), radiology information systems (RIS), imaging applications, or enterprise healthcare applications required.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the Epic Sphinx Assessment as part of the interview and selection process to be eligible for employment in this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical and operational workflows, translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot application issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with radiologists, imaging technologists, providers, operational leaders, and technical stakeholders.
  • Must maintain all required certifications, credentials, and continuing education applicable to the position throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience configuring, implementing, testing, supporting, or optimizing Epic Radiant or other radiology information systems is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting diagnostic imaging workflows, radiology scheduling, order management, documentation, results reporting, charge capture, PACS integration, or HL7 interfaces preferred.
  • Working knowledge of outpatient radiology operations, diagnostic imaging workflows, imaging informatics, regulatory requirements, and healthcare technology best practices preferred.
  • Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in Radiant or assigned application(s) preferred. Certification may be required based on the assigned application or role responsibilities.
  • Current certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or other applicable imaging credentials may be preferred for certain analyst assignments based on application responsibilities.
  • Other clinical, technical, or professional certifications may be required based on assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Radiant-specific scheduling queues, provider documentation templates, and radiologist reading worklists
  • Configure order transmittal logic to ensure radiology orders route seamlessly from ambulatory clinics to imaging systems
  • Partner with technical infrastructure teams to support and test HL7 interfaces between Radiant and PACS/imaging systems
  • Collaborate with radiology personnel to analyze operational workflows, configure templates, and maintain charge capture settings
  • Develop and execute system testing plans for diagnostic documentation, results delivery, and critical value alerting
