About The Position

We are looking for an Epic Payer Platform Analyst to configure, roll out, and support assigned Epic Payer Platform applications. This position will be Full-Time and remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7+ years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules
  • Epic Application Certification/Accreditation
  • Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of project management principles

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a relevant field
  • 5 years healthcare industry experience, preferably in the insurance segment, in lieu of degree
  • Epic certification in one or more Payer Platform modules (e.g., Payer Platform Core, Payer Platform Member Experience, Tapestry) strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Epic Payer Platform solutions in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business and systems analysis to define requirements and document processes
  • Design, build, test, implement, and support Epic Payer Platform software to meet user needs
  • Work with end-users to identify and resolve system issues
  • Develop and document workflow analysis while evaluating user experience
  • Support and maintain environment or applications using knowledge of the applications and technologies in the environment, while recommending enterprise-level solutions
  • Configure changes within the Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows
  • Make decisions that refine and improve current practices and develop new approaches, including researching and assessing new technologies or functionality
  • Contribute to and manage medium to large projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders
  • Use analytical skills (problem solving, root cause analysis) to complete complex assignments
  • Visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems
  • Independently initiate process improvement
