About The Position
We are looking for an Epic Payer Platform Analyst to configure, roll out, and support assigned Epic Payer Platform applications. This position will be Full-Time and remote.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7+ years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules
- Epic Application Certification/Accreditation
- Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of project management principles
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a relevant field
- 5 years healthcare industry experience, preferably in the insurance segment, in lieu of degree
- Epic certification in one or more Payer Platform modules (e.g., Payer Platform Core, Payer Platform Member Experience, Tapestry) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Epic Payer Platform solutions in a healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Conduct business and systems analysis to define requirements and document processes
- Design, build, test, implement, and support Epic Payer Platform software to meet user needs
- Work with end-users to identify and resolve system issues
- Develop and document workflow analysis while evaluating user experience
- Support and maintain environment or applications using knowledge of the applications and technologies in the environment, while recommending enterprise-level solutions
- Configure changes within the Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows
- Make decisions that refine and improve current practices and develop new approaches, including researching and assessing new technologies or functionality
- Contribute to and manage medium to large projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders
- Use analytical skills (problem solving, root cause analysis) to complete complex assignments
- Visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems
- Independently initiate process improvement
