About The Position

The EPIC Education Analyst provides Epic electronic health record education, end‑user support, and workflow analysis across a variety of healthcare settings. Serves as a liaison between clinical users and EHR resources, promoting consistent documentation standards and optimal system utilization.

Requirements

  • Minimum: Associate’s degree in healthcare, education, information systems, or related field
  • Minimum: Three (3) years of relevant experience in healthcare, education, or a comparable professional role.
  • At least one (1) Epic Credential of any application; or must obtain within two (2) months.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred: Five (5) years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Creates, verifies and modifies training guides, lesson plans and other instructional materials.
  • Ensures that changes and updates are timely updated in all training materials.
  • Manages training and education requests and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure training is appropriately scheduled and aligned with operational and management requirements.
  • Utilizes appropriate instructional materials, tools, and classroom environments to support effective learning for both hospital-based and ambulatory clinical practices.
  • Delivers training through multiple modalities (instructor lead, virtual, e-learning, webinars and individualized instruction) to users.
  • Applies instructional design principles to assess learner needs and ensure understanding.
  • Adapts educational materials accordingly for successful delivery of training.
  • May include initial training, retraining/remediation, elbow support or other individual or group supplementary training.
  • Develops and provides tools and other resources that assist new learners with knowledge retention and application such as job aids.
  • Evaluates, scores, and approves learner assessments as appropriate.
  • Maintains training documentation, reviews completion records, and validates assessment accuracy.
  • Generates reports to demonstrate completion, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness
  • Supports system initiatives including new projects, application builds, curriculum development, and workflow enhancements.
  • Reviews and verifies accuracy of both training and production software environments.
  • Assists users and colleagues with issues of varying complexity, applying sound judgment and troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaborates with others to support, troubleshoot, and optimize application functionality, and improve clinical and EHR workflows and related technologies.
  • Uses feedback from customers and other sources to identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements that enhance the end‑user experience.
  • Gathers detailed information from users requesting assistance and accurately documents and routes support tickets.
  • Investigates issues and supports resolution, including tracking support tickets from initiation through resolution and following up as appropriate.
  • Travels to additional sites as needed to provide training and go‑live support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
