Huron’s Healthcare Transformation Services (HDTx) team works with healthcare organizations to solve their most complex EHR challenges, so we are constantly searching for skilled technical consultants to help our clients maximize their technology investments. Our Senior Consultants come with a wide variety of experience leveraging their technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR platform to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability. Huron is seeking an Epic clinical informatics resource to support stabilization efforts for a healthcare client. This individual will partner closely with leadership to optimize clinical workflows, support Epic utilization, and act as a key liaison between operations and IT to drive adoption and performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong clinical background with hands-on experience in healthcare settings
  • Experience supporting or optimizing Epic workflows
  • Proven ability to act as a liaison between clinical operations and IT teams
  • Experience with workflow design, communication, and implementation
  • Project coordination or project management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Epic certification (any clinical module preferred)
  • Experience in clinical informatics or workflow optimization roles
  • Strong change management and adoption experience
  • Experience supporting ambulatory or clinic-based environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinical leadership to understand, design, and communicate new workflows
  • Serve as liaison between IT and clinical practice teams to ensure alignment
  • Support Epic workflow optimization and adoption initiatives
  • Assist with project management, including tracking deliverables and timelines
  • Drive change management efforts and support user adoption
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and clinic performance
  • Support governance processes and decision-making related to clinical systems
