About The Position

Superlanet is seeking an Epic Cadence/Referrals Analyst for our healthcare client in Southern California. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid work schedule, so Southern California based candidates, only. The Epic Cadence/Referral Analyst will partner closely with clinical leaders, providers, and project teams to translate business and operational needs into effective Epic EMR functionality. This role is responsible for the design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Cadence and Referrals applications within Epic. This individual will serve as a key liaison between IT and clinical/patient access teams, ensuring workflows are aligned with clinical best practices, operational goals, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of related experience
  • Hands-on experience with Epic Cadence and Referrals build
  • Strong background in ambulatory healthcare workflows and operations
  • Demonstrated experience across the full system lifecycle including planning, design, build, testing, implementation, and support
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across clinical, operational, and technical teams
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from concept through completion
  • Advanced analytical and documentation skills, including reporting and performance analysis
  • Ability to serve as a technical leader and advisor on system enhancements, upgrades, and best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Epic Certification in Cadence and/or Referrals
  • Experience supporting or leading a clinical system implementation
  • Deep understanding of hospital and/or medical group operations and workflows

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, testing, and implementation of Epic Cadence and Referrals functionality
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders, providers, and operations teams to translate workflows into system design
  • Support clinical and patient access users by aligning system functionality with real-world workflows and documentation needs
  • Develop and maintain detailed specifications, including clinical processes, authorization workflows, data flow, and risk/impact analysis
  • Create or adapt operational protocols and documentation to support system use and optimization
  • Provide ongoing support including troubleshooting, maintenance, and end-user assistance
  • Lead or contribute to medium to large-scale projects with broad scope and complexity
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and technical leader within Cadence/Referrals
  • Analyze system performance, develop metrics, and generate reports to support continuous improvement initiatives

Benefits

  • Salary based on experience $125,000 - $145,000+
