About The Position

Regular, Full-Time position on the Epic Cogito team | Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm Hybrid: 60/40 onsite/remote | Pay: Salaried, PG14 Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Epic Business Intelligence Developers (BIDs) create analytics content for end-users and third parties who require Epic data.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or healthcare field or 4 years related experience in healthcare or business-related field
2 years of experience with SQL and relational database concepts
Proficiency and demonstrated experience with analytics tools.
Strong verbal and written correspondence skills
Strong coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills
Fundamental experience troubleshooting technical issues.
Operate and communicate while under pressure.
Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
Existing knowledge of healthcare culture, personnel, and processes

Responsibilities

Configure and test Epic-released and Foundation System content for all applications, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, RadarCogito SQL.
Creating content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.
Writing SQL and configuring Radar settings for custom SQL metrics.
Reviewing peer reports for validity and modifying existing reports.
Distribute analytics content to data consumers and working with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers.
Maintaining the Analytics Catalog and associated metadata records.
Testing analytics build in a specified testing environment and volume testing in live environments.
Reviewing upgrade documentation related to Cogito features and determining how to implement the changes.
Build and maintain: Cubes, Extracts, SlicerDicer custom filters, Third-party BI tools, and Epic data in Caboodle.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
