Epic Applications Analyst, Senior - Beacon/Cellular Therapy Focus
About The Position
This position allows for Remote work to allow a flexible work environment To be considered for the role, you must permanently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia The Epic Application Analyst - Senior manages or performs work associated with analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of the organization’s information technology resources. The Epic Application Analyst - Senior helps enhance oncology, research, and transplant care through technology. Configure and maintain clinical tools, resolve Epic workflow issues, and design and configure new IT solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize documentation and ensure efficient, reliable support for providers and patients across the enterprise.
Requirements
- Six to eight years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Must be certified in Epic module(s) appropriate to area of responsibility as determined by leadership if applicable.
- Each project and exam as determined for the specific roles must be passed within three (3) attempts.
- Successful Epic certification(s) completion required within 60 days of final training.
- Maintain required Epic certification for appropriate role.
- Permanently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Epic experience in the training, build, and/or support of the Epic systems electronic health record suite preferred.
- Healthcare experience desired.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop new documentation tools such as flow sheet, smart sets, treatment plans, therapy plans, and notes.
- Analyze complex business problems and design technology, integration, and workflow solutions.
- Identify system gaps and provide technical expertise to inform functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to technical discussions, offering insights that improve solutions.
- Configure and maintain clinical tools.
- Resolve Epic workflow issues.
- Design and configure new IT solutions.
- Optimize documentation.
- Ensure efficient, reliable support for providers and patients across the enterprise.
