About The Position

As an Application Analyst II - Epic Willow Inpatient, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of medication management within the Epic ecosystem—supporting clinical excellence across the inpatient environment. Independently manage the build, configuration, and support of Epic Willow Inpatient and related pharmacy applications. Collaborate with Pharmacy Leadership, Nursing, Clinical Operations, and Information Systems to optimize medication-use workflows. Support clinical safety, compliance, and quality initiatives aligned with USP, Joint Commission, and institutional standards. Evaluate and refine workflows to enhance medication management, charge capture, and decision support. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation to ensure seamless operations across inpatient settings. Provide on-call support and timely issue resolution impacting pharmacy and clinical operations. Lead or support initiatives in barcode medication administration, sterile compounding, and inventory management. Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user resources for clinical staff. Contribute to ongoing stabilization and optimization of inpatient medication-use processes.

Requirements

  • Certification in Epic Willow Inpatient required
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient or similar pharmacy applications.
  • Strong understanding of related Epic modules (ClinDoc, Orders, Beacon, Resolute, and Inventory).
  • Experience partnering with Finance, Revenue Integrity, and Pharmacy teams to optimize medication charging and billing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team initiatives.
  • Commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and clinical safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy experience is a plus
