About The Position

The Epic Patient Access Applications Manager oversees the strategic direction and management of the Epic team. This role involves leveraging expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and manage complex projects. The manager will lead a high-performing team, foster client and vendor relationships, and effectively manage change initiatives to align with organizational goals.

Requirements

Experience leading and managing a team of multiple analysts across Epic Ancillary modules
Experience working with Optime/Anesthesia, Cupid, Radiant, Lumens
Experience with Epic Foundation and Community Connect installs
Experience working in fast-paced environments
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare information technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field
Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions
Demonstrated success in influencing and supporting operational partners with organizational change management
Demonstrated success in leading the improvement of platforms, standards, and processes
Demonstrated success managing projects within budget, vendors, partners, and/or managed services
5 years of progressive experience in IS or Informatics project, product, and solution delivery
2 years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare IT or Informatics

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field
Vendor certifications (e.g. Epic) as relevant for the position

Responsibilities

Leverage expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and manage complex projects

Oversee the strategic direction and management of the Epic Ancillary team
Leverage knowledge of Epic Foundation and Epic Ambulatory applications to optimize workflows and improve patient care
Lead a high-performing team of professionals to manage day-to-day operations and solution delivery
Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to timelines and budgets
Foster strong relationships with other leaders, customers, and third-party vendors to maximize the value of investments
Effectively manage change initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption
Partners with connect program manager to assist in connect program development
