The Ancillary Services Manager assures quality-focused, cost-effective delivery outcomes and the business success of the organization. They utilize experience, research, and education to effectively oversee the human, fiscal, and material resources of the ancillary departments. Areas may include, but not limited to: safety, maintenance, laundry, environmental services, infection control, and emergency preparedness. The role requires a creative outlook and creativity skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, outstanding critical thinking and negotiating skills, and a value for education to enhance staff and manager knowledge. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for troubleshooting, coordinating, and providing oversight to multiple departments within ancillary services. Other duties as assigned will also be undertaken.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. In lieu of degree, 6 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Maintains any certifications and/or licensure as required by profession.
• Depending on location, current valid driver’s license may be required and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of healthcare management experience is preferred.
