About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking an Epi Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations. The technician will communicate and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure equipment issues are resolved appropriately and efficiently. The role requires a 12-hour compressed work schedule and flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Either 2 years of semiconductor experience as a technician or 8 years of non-semiconductor or military technician experience.
Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Experience working on AMAT Centura Prime or ASM Intrepid Atmospheric Epi equipment.
Self-driven approach and ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance.
Good troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems.
Excellent organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downtime.
Monitor and analyze related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool-related issues.
Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed.
Prepare technical reports, summarize findings, and recommend solutions to technical problems.
Train across additional modules as needed to support business needs.
