About The Position

As a Senior Procedure Writer, you'll serve as a trusted resource for capturing technical knowledge and transforming it into practical, user-friendly procedures that support engineering, construction, and operational excellence. You'll collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts across the organization to ensure critical work is documented, standardized, and performed safely and efficiently. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, technical writing, education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing technical procedures, controlled documents, or instructional materials within an industrial or technical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information and convert it into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in procedure writing, technical documentation, or document control
  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, manufacturing, nuclear, DOE, or other highly regulated industries
  • Knowledge of document control, configuration management, and change management processes
  • Experience developing procedures in an NRC or DOE-regulated environment
  • Previous experience mentoring or providing guidance to less experienced procedure writers or technical personnel
  • An active “Q” clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, revision, and maintenance of technical and administrative procedures that support EPC activities.
  • Partner with engineers, project teams, and subject matter experts to translate complex processes into clear documentation.
  • Evaluate and implement procedure changes.
  • Support document control activities.
  • Provide guidance to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across the organization.
