About The Position
We are seeking an experienced EPC Power Electronic Test Engineer to join our team in Carson, CA. This is an onsite role requiring 2+ years of experience. The position is for a 6-month duration with the possibility of extending or going direct. The interview process involves two rounds.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience testing high voltage/power systems.
- Knowledge of automated test equipment design.
- Experience testing automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Ability to use LabVIEW, run system devices, and use oscilloscopes.
Nice To Haves
- EMC Test experience.
- Programming ability in LabVIEW.
Responsibilities
- Utilize data acquisition, processing, and analysis software such as Matlab or LabVIEW.
- Utilize standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and power meters independently.
- Use instrumentation such as thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, hygrometers, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
