About The Position
The EP Technologist assists the EP Specialists in providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, implantable device procedures, and extractions. Incumbents in this position assist physicians by implementing and performing a cardiac catheterization plan of care using standards of A.O.R.N., aseptic technique, cardiac and peripheral anatomy and physiology, radiographic imaging technique, standards of nursing care, and principles of cardiovascular technology.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Diploma
Responsibilities
