Parsons is looking for a talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team! This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. Requirements

Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment
Understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Clean driving record important
Ability to work independently, outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions, typical of midwest US.
High School diploma, or equivalent
40-hour OSHA training course (with an annual 8-hour update).
OSHA-10 hr (General or Construction).
First aid, CPR, AED, and on site safety training

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in an environmental field preferred
Prior experience with pumps and piping systems preferred

Responsibilities

Perform routine operations, maintenance and monitoring of remediation systems.
Troubleshoot remediation system operational issues
Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling
Collect site data and provide documentation for site activities
Provide contractor oversight for routine tasks and non-routine projects
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project team to execute field investigations and system optimization initiatives.
